Board of Finance reviews draft budget presenting two percent increase

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Board of Finance reviews First Selectman's draft two percent budget increase. First Selectman Bradley Bremer presented the 2025-26 draft budget showing an overall two percent increase, with individual categories ranging from a 6.0 percent reduction in Town Hall Expenditures to a 6.9 percent increase in Miscellaneous expenses. The board also reviewed the revised 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan requesting $350,000 in funding for fiscal year 2026-2027 after an anticipated $35,000 LOCIP grant, along with adjusted Region 7 Board of Education budget figures and revenue projections.
