Colebrook fire department seeks matching funds for equipment

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Center Volunteer Fire Department approves routine monthly business and equipment needs. Secretary Hannah McCaw and members voted unanimously to accept secretary and treasurer reports at the August 3 meeting. Members approved a $100 allocation for a raffle fundraiser organized by Sandra Carfiro and Sarah Carfiro.
The department submitted a boat motor with a $4,250 quote and turnout gear for matching fund consideration, while gathering ongoing estimates for furnace, exterior door, and overhead door projects. The Tanker remains out of service at Millards pending repairs.
