Planning Commission defers two horse-stable special exceptions

misc · Meeting of July 15, 2026

CT COLEBROOK — The Colebrook Planning and Zoning Commission deferred decisions on two horse-stable applications. Applicant Allison McCallum seeks special exceptions for commercial stables at 139 Bunnell Street, which she owns, and 61 Phelps Road, for which she is negotiating a five-year lease. During the hearings, McCallum confirmed that training and teaching would occur only during daylight hours with no exterior lighting.

In other business, the Commission requested clarification on a site plan application at 1 Greenwoods Turnpike.
