Zoning commission approves new enforcement officer

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Planning and Zoning Commission votes to approve new enforcement officer. The commission unanimously voted to appoint Jeremy DeCarli of Tyche Planning and Policy Group as the town's new Zoning Enforcement Officer. In related business, the five-member commission unanimously adopted a new complaint procedure and directed review of the town's zoning regulations.

Three properties remain under compliance review: 76 Fritz Road's owner paid a $300 fine and resolved all violations; 1 Center Brook Road received a Cease and Desist letter for setback violations; and 139 Bunnell Street's owner faces follow-up regarding unpermitted business operations. The commission deferred approval of December 2025 meeting minutes until February 2026.
