Authority convenes on transfer station strategy

CT COLEBROOK — Authority meets in closed session on transfer station acquisition plans. The Northwest Resource Recovery Authority board convened virtually on April 16 to discuss legal strategies for potential acquisition and operation of the Torrington Transfer Station. Board members Daniel Jerram, Elinor Carbone, Michael Magistrali, Todd Carusillo, and Curtis Rand were joined by Torrington Mayor Molly Spino and First Selectmen from Norfolk and Goshen.

No substantive votes were recorded during the closed executive session, though discussion included consideration of hiring a strategic advisor.
