Colebrook fire volunteers plan spring fundraiser, equipment updates

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook fire department holds spring administrative meeting. The 21-member Colebrook Volunteer Fire Department convened May 6 to discuss the Trail Riders Fundraiser on May 17-18, an LCD radio system switchover on May 12, and a Walk to School event May 8. Secretary Hannah McCaw and Treasurer Sarah Carfiro presented reports accepted by motion.
The department noted fundraiser attendance is down around 100 members and that air testing for equipment is behind schedule. Fire extinguisher servicing with Firematic is being considered for June.
