Colebrook Recreation Board updates programs and revises financial policy

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Recreation Board updates youth programs and policies. The board approved karate at eight weeks for $65 and basketball shorts and pizza party funds unanimously. Board member Tiffanie Meehan introduced sportsmanship agreements that parents and children will sign at the first practice.
The board discussed spring baseball planning including field quotes and a February pitching clinic, and summer soccer clinics with coaches. The board revised its financial assistance policy to eliminate a Zeffy discount code except for families who have paid at town hall, while considering individual financial support requests on a case-by-case basis.
