Board of Finance approves 2026-2027 budget, sets mill rate at 25.0

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Board of Finance approves 2026-2027 combined budgets with 25.0 mill rate. The board unanimously approved budgets totaling approximately $7.17 million, including a $2,497,048.27 Colebrook Board of Education budget, a $2,352,816 Regional School District 7 budget, and a $2,323,659 Board of Selectmen budget. The board approved a $350,000 transfer to the Capital Improvement Plan fund and a $36,153 transfer from the town surplus account to the general fund to address a budget deficit.
The combined budgets will be presented for public hearing on April 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
