Curtis Rand Elected Chair of Regional Waste Authority

CT COLEBROOK — Regional waste authority names new chair, promotes strategic advisor to operations management. Curtis Rand of Salisbury was unanimously elected chair of the Northwest Resource Recovery Authority following Dan Jerram's resignation to take a Torrington post. Strategic advisor Rachel Oster was promoted to Operations Manager with authority for day-to-day decisions at the Torrington Transfer Station, which serves Colebrook and six other towns.

The board authorized Rand to execute OPM Grant in Aid documents.
