misc · Meeting of July 20, 2026

CT COLEBROOK — NRRA unanimously authorizes extension of Torrington transfer station DAS agreement through June 2027. The Northwest Resource Recovery Authority voted at its March 13 special meeting to extend the interim agreement with the Department of Administrative Services for continued operation of the Torrington Transfer Station through June 30, 2027. The decision came after DAS recently terminated existing contracts with the NRRA regarding the station.

Board members also voted unanimously to authorize Chairman Dan Jerram to send a response letter to the DAS Commissioner, documenting the NRRA's position following discussions at a March 11 meeting organized by State Rep. Canino.
