NRRA sets waste-disposal fees, secures state funding

CT COLEBROOK — NRRA approves tip fees and secures $500K state funding. The Northwest Resource Recovery Authority, serving Colebrook and eight member towns, set FY 26/27 solid waste disposal fees at $120 per ton for municipalities and $125.54 for private haulers, with municipal recycling at $12 per ton and private-hauler recycling at market rate adjusted quarterly. The authority accepted $500,000 in financial assistance from the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management under Public Act 26-76, with Daniel Jerram authorized to execute the service agreement.

State Representative Horn was credited with securing the grant funding.
