Safety Committee approves minutes; seeks DPW radio funding

CT COLEBROOK — Colebrook Safety Committee approves prior meeting minutes, prioritizes public works radios. The committee unanimously approved minutes from its September 25, 2025 meeting and received updates on departmental safety needs. The Department of Public Works reported adequate stocks of general safety gear and confirmed a new eye wash station is now operational.
Public Works identified mobile radios for trucks and equipment as a safety priority for crews operating in no-service areas, with William Jasmin to seek quotes for Capital Improvement Plan consideration next year. Deer Hill Road speed limit signs are scheduled for spring placement. First Selectman Brad Bremer committed to addressing a recurring snow-dumping concern in the town newsletter.
